XHVS-FM 96.3 FM, 96.3 is a combo radio station in Hermosillo, Sonora. It carries the Máxima adult contemporary format from its owner, Radio S.A. History The concession for XEVS-AM 1110 was awarded to Francisco Vidal Moreno in 1960, with an original transmitter location of Villa de Seris, a neighborhood of Hermosillo. Vidal Moreno had previously built and signed on XHEDL-FM, XEDL-AM in the 1940s. In 1994, XEVS was authorized to add an FM station, XHVS-FM 89.7 (later 96.3) and become an AM-FM combo. After Vidal's death, his estate sold its radio stations to Radio S.A. XEVS discontinued AM broadcasts in 2017, but the station never formally surrendered its AM authorization. References

XHEDL-FM
XHEDL-FM is a radio station on 89.7 FM in Hermosillo, Sonora. The station is owned by Radio S.A. and carries a pop format known as Activa 89.7. History XHEDL began as XEDL-AM 1250 in 1944, though its concession history dates only to 1958. It was owned by Francisco Vidal and later by Eufemia Esquer de Vidal. In 1980, the station was among the first to be represented by Grupo Radio Comunicación, S.A. This formed the basis for what became known as Radio S.A. After Esquer de Vidal's death, the station was transferred from her estate to Carlos de Jesús Quiñones Armendáriz, the owner of Radio S.A. In 2012, XEDL moved to FM on 89.7 MHz and became known as "DL Radio 89.7, La Gran Diferencia", taking its slogan from sister station XEDA-AM in Mexico City. At the time the station primarily had a talk format. At the end of 2013, XHEDL ditched its talk format for pop in Spanish and became known as Activa 89.7. References

XHEPB-FM is a radio station in Hermosillo, Sonora Hermosillo (), formerly called Pitic (as in ''Santísima Trinidad del Pitic'' and ''Presidio del Pitic''), is a city in the center of the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. It is the municipal seat of the Hermosillo municipality, the state's .... Broadcasting on 93.1 FM, XHEPB is owned by Radio S.A. History XEPB-AM received its concession on December 27, 1960. It took its calls from concessionaire Hugo Pennock Bravo and broadcast on 1400 kHz with 250 watts. In 1969, control passed to Radio Pitic, S.A., and power was increased to one kilowatt. Sometime in the early 2000s, XEPB moved to 950 kHz and increased its power to 10 kW. Radio S.A. bought XEPB in the 2000s and moved the station to FM in 2011. In April 2019, the station rebranded from Grupera 93.1 to Latino 93.1. The new format ended on August 31, 2020, when the station began airing El Heraldo Radio.
