XHVF-FM is a radio station on 103.9 FM in Villaflores, Chiapas, Mexico. The station is owned by Radio Núcleo and carries its grupera format known as Extremo Grupero. History XHVF began as XEVF-AM 1540, which came on air June 11, 1967. It was operated by José Narváez Rincón, who had earlier founded XEWM in San Cristóbal de las Casas San Cristóbal de las Casas (), also known by its native Tzotzil name, Jovel (), is a town and municipality located in the Central Highlands region of the Mexican state of Chiapas. It was the capital of the state until 1892, and is still consid .... The station broadcast with 500 watts and was registered to Martín Glustein Cruz. Óscar Fonseca Alfaro, now a director at Radio Núcleo, became concessionaire in 1985. In June 1994, XEVF moved from 1540 kHz to 730 in order to raise its power from 5,000 to 10,000 watts. Villaflores Municipality is a ''municipio'' (municipality) in the state of Chiapas, southern Mexico, and the name of its largest settlement and seat of the municipal government. Situated in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas range, the municipality has an area of approximately 1232 km2 at an average elevation of 540m above mean sea level. XHWM-FM is a radio station on 95.3 FM The following radio broadcasting, radio stations broadcast on FM broadcasting, FM frequency 95.3 MHz: Argentina * 95.3 Ayacucho in Ayacucho, Buenos Aires * Acción (radio station), Acción * Atlántida (radio station), Atlántida in Buenos ... in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, in Mexico. It is owned by Francisco José Narvaez Rincón and is known as Suprema Radio. History XEWM-AM 640 hit the air on July 7, 1969, owned by Plinio Medina Pérez and receiving its concession on October 27 of that year. The 250-watt station was the first in San Cristóbal, increasing its power to one kilowatt by the 1980s. In 2000, XHCRI-FM signed on as a noncommercial sister to XEWM. San Cristóbal de las Casas (), also known by its native Tzotzil name, Jovel (), is a town and municipality located in the Central Highlands region of the Mexican state of Chiapas. It was the capital of the state until 1892, and is still considered the cultural capital of Chiapas. The municipality is mostly made up of mountainous terrain, but the city sits in a small valley surrounded by hills.
