XHPV-FM is a radio station on 103.5 FM in Papantla, Veracruz. It is owned by Radiorama Radiorama were an Italian Italo disco band formed in 1984 by Simona Zanini and Aldo Martinelli. They were later joined by Mauro Farina and Giuliano Crivellente. Their first two singles, "Chance to Desire" and "Desire" were European hits. Disco ... and is known as La Más Picuda. The station's transmitter is on Cerro El Comanche. History XEEU-AM 1170 received its concession on May 11, 1977. It broadcast as a daytimer with 250 watts. In the 1980s, it took on the XEPV-AM calls from its sister at 1270 (now XHRRR). In the 1990s, XEPV moved to 840 and increased power to 2.5 kW day and 125 watts night. XHRRR-FM is a radio station in Papantla de Olarte, Veracruz Papantla () is a city and municipality located in the north of the state of Veracruz, Mexico, in the Sierra Papanteca range and on the Gulf of Mexico. The city was founded in the 13th century by the Totonacs and has dominated the Totonacapan .... Owned by Radiorama, XHRRR broadcasts on 89.3 MHz from a tower on Cerro El Comanche and is known as @FM. The station began its life as XEPV-AM 1270, with a concession awarded to Andrés Ebergenyi Belgodere in September 1957. In the 1980s, the station became XERRR-AM; its sister station on 1170 (now XHPV-FM), which had been XEEU, took on the XEPV calls. The station migrated to FM in the early 2010s. Papantla () is a city and municipality located in the north of the state of Veracruz, Mexico, in the Sierra Papanteca range and on the Gulf of Mexico. The city was founded in the 13th century by the Totonacs and has dominated the Totonacapan region of the state since then. This is the home of vanilla, which is native to this region, the Danza de los Voladores and the El Tajín archeological site, which was named a World Heritage Site. Papantla still has strong communities of Totonacs who maintain the culture and language. The city contains a number of large scale murals and sculptures done by native artist Teodoro Cano García, which honor the Totonac culture. The name Papantla is from Nahuatl and most often interpreted to mean "place of the papanes" (a species of crow). This meaning is reflected in the municipality's coat of arms. Grupo Radiorama is the largest owner and operator of radio stations in Mexico. Founded in 1970, the company operated nearly 400 radio stations in 2014. History Radiorama was founded on December 9, 1970, by Javier Pérez de Anda and Adrián Pereda López. The two founders had previous experience at other radio groups, such as Organización Radio Centro and Radiópolis. Radiorama started with 7 stations, but grew to 150 by 1985.
