XHLUV-FM is a community radio station in Luvianos, State of Mexico. Broadcasting on 96.5 FM, XHLUV is owned by La Calentana Luvimex, A.C. History "Calentana Mexiquense" was founded by Indalecio Benítez Mondragón, beginning operations on November 20, 2013. The station, which was unauthorized and did not hold a permit, broadcast on 98.1 MHz with a 20-watt transmitter. On August 1, 2014, Calentana Mexiquense was attacked by a gunman who fired several shots into the studios, located in the Benítez family home; Benítez's 12-year-old child, Juan Diego, was shot and killed in the attack. Indalecio and his family moved to Mexico City in the wake of the attack, and two months later, they began the process of applying for a concession. Luvianos
Luvianos is a small town and municipality located in the southwest of the State of Mexico. It gained municipal status in 2000. People can access Luvianos by driving Federal Road 134 south from Toluca, and then take a detour about 25 minutes north of Tejupilco. The name is derived from a hacienda what was established during colonial times. The town The town has a total population of 8,146 as of 2005. One of the popular tourists destinations in Luvianos is the water park "Las Lomas". Many travel for hours to visit this attraction. XHSILL-FM is a community radio station on 106.7 FM in Hermosillo, Sonora, known as Política y Rock'n'roll Radio. History Política y Rock'n'roll Radio originated from a program that ran on XHCD-FM 95.5 until 2011 and began operations as an unlicensed station on 97.7 MHz in June 2012. On March 25, 2014, the station's equipment was confiscated. In order to broadcast legally, the operators of the station formed a civil association, Autogestión Comunicativa, A.C., and began working to obtain a permit.
