XHGML-FM is a radio station on 92.1 FM in Guamúchil, Sinaloa, Mexico. It is owned by Grupo Chávez Radio and carries a Regional Mexican format known as La Maxi. History XHGML-FM received its concession on October 15, 1990. It was owned by Rutilio Blancarte Díaz and sold to Grupo Chávez in 2006. The station was affiliated with Ke Buena until 2021 when Grupo Chávez Radio leased XHREV-FM in Los Mochis and XHGML to Roque Mascareño Chávez—grandson of the founder of Chávez Radio—for his Vibra Radio venture, which had also purchased XHVQ-FM in Culiacán and XHMAT-FM in Mazatlán. On September 24, 2022, after Vibra Radio won a new station (XHCCCI-FM 95.1) in the IFT-8 radio station auction, XHGML changed to the La Maxi format, based on XHMAX-FM 102.5 in Los Mochis. XHJL-FM is a radio station on 99.3 FM in Guamúchil, Sinaloa. It is owned by Grupo Chávez Radio and known as La JL with a news/talk format. History XEJL-AM 1400 received its concession on December 20, 1958. The 1,000-watt station, which by the 1960s was broadcasting on 1300 kHz, was owned by Francisco Bartolo Meza. XHREV-FM is a radio station on 104.3 FM in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. It is owned by Roque Mascareño Chávez as one of four stations in the Vibra group, known as La Buena Vibra. History XEZA-AM 740 in Topolobampo received its concession on September 6, 1973. The 250-watt station was owned by Ernesto Tirado Zavala. In the early 1990s, XEZA moved to 770 kHz and increased its power to 5,000 watts as a daytimer in order to move to Los Mochis. It was acquired by Radio Z, S.A. in 1990 and changed its callsign to XEFTA-AM. XEFTA became XEREV later in the 1990s and migrated to FM in 2011. Los Mochis
Los Mochis () is a coastal city in northern Sinaloa, Mexico. It serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of Ahome. As of the 2010 census, the population was 362,613, which was 61 percent of the municipality's population. Los Mochis is the western terminus of the Chihuahua-Pacific Railroad (El Chepe), which passes through the scenic Copper Canyon. This railway was originally conceived by Albert K. XHVQ-FM is a radio station on 96.9 FM in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, known as Vibra Radio. History XENP-AM 830 AM, 830—also known as XENSM—received its concession on May 15, 1964. It was originally located in Navolato and owned by Salvador Águilar Montenegro, whose family owned several local gas stations, operating as a 1,000-watt daytimer. Within several years, the call sign was changed to XEVQ-AM, and station operations moved to Culiacán. By the 1980s, XEVQ was owned by Radio y Televisión del Noroeste and operating with 5,000 watts. In the 2000s, it added 1,000 watts at night. XEVQ migrated to FM in 2011 as XHVQ-FM 96.9. Culiacán
Culiacán, officially Culiacán Rosales, is a city in northwestern Mexico, the capital and largest city of both the Culiacán Municipality and the state of Sinaloa. Mazatlán () is a city in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. The city serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding '' municipio'', known as the Mazatlán Municipality. It is located at on the Pacific coast, across from the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula. ''Mazatlán'' is a Nahuatl word meaning "place of deer". The city was founded in 1531 by an army of Spaniards and indigenous people. By the mid-19th century, a large group of immigrants arrived from Germany.
