XHGLX-FM
XHGLX-FM is a commercial radio station in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Broadcasting on 91.7 FM, XHGLX owned by MVS Radio and carries the Exa FM national format. The programs and most of the music are presented in Spanish language, Spanish, while a number of American English, English-language songs are also heard. History XHTIM-FM came to air in 1990 carrying MVS's Stereorey format, and its early years were filled with major changes. It started broadcasting on 103.3 MHz, the frequency that had been made available on March 16, 1989 in the ''Diario Oficial de la Federación''. However, 103.3 was not an appropriate home for XHTIM, which soon picked up interference complaints from KSON (FM), KJQY 103.7. In an attempt to remediate its interference to KJQY, XHTIM found a new home at 91.5 MHz, beginning January 27, 1992. This triggered the wrath of another American station, KUSC in Los Angeles. XHTIM-FM
XHTIM-FM is a commercial radio station in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Broadcasting on 90.7 FM, XHTIM is owned by MVS Radio and carries the La Mejor Regional Mexican format. History XHTIJ-FM 97.7 came to air in July 1990. It was owned by Carlos Armando Madrazo y Pintado and was eventually sold to Sociedad Mexicana de Radio de Baja California, which in turn sold the station to MVS. It originally broadcast as Estéreo Amistad, broadcasting pop music in Spanish, later rebranding as Sí FM. In 1998, the station flipped to pop music as Pulsar FM, and the next year it became XHTIM-FM with a Regional Mexican format, first as X97.7 and later as La Mejor. (XHTIM-FM had been the call sign of 91.7 FM, which at that time became XHGLX-FM.) XHOCL-FM
XHOCL-FM is a radio station on 99.3 FM in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. It is owned by MVS Radio and carries its Globo Spanish AC format. The station's studios are located in the Agua Caliente neighborhood of Tijuana, with its transmitter on a tower on Av. Club 20–30. History The concession history for XHOCL begins in the late 1960s, with tentative approval to establish XHQS-FM on 96.1 MHz. This station would have been owned by XHQS, S.A., in turn owned by Guillermo Núñez Keith. Instead, XHQS, S.A., part of Víctor Díaz's Califórmula Broadcasting, received the concession for XHKY-FM 95.7 on June 5, 1975. KSON (103.7 FM, "103-7 KSON") is a commercial radio station licensed to San Diego, California. Owned by Audacy, Inc., the station broadcasts a country music format. The station's current call letters and programming originate from a sister station now known as KWFN. Following Entercom (now Audacy)'s merger with CBS Radio, the new sister stations swapped signals to improve KSON's reach following the divestment of its former simulcast partner on 92.1 FM.
