XHFIL-FM is a radio station on 88.9 FM in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. It is operated by MegaRadio and carries its Switch pop format. History XENH-AM 1590 received its concession on June 30, 1960. It was owned by Gerardo Millán Ríos and broadcast from Escuinapa with 1,000 watts day and 200 night. In one week in January 1986, XENH was authorized to become XEFIL-AM and to move to 870 kHz in Mazatlán. It was sold to the current concessionaire in 1994. XHVU-FM 97.1 is a radio station in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. It is affiliated to MegaRadio and carries its Magia Digital grupera format. History XEVU-AM 720 received its first concession in February 1977. It broadcast with 1,000 watts during the day and 500 at night. XEVU became a combo in 1994. In May 2016, XHVU flipped from Radiorama to MegaRadio affiliation and consequently changed names from Éxtasis Digital to Magia Digital, as the former is a Radiorama-specific brand. Mazatlán
Mazatlán () is a city in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. The city serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding '' municipio'', known as the Mazatlán Municipality. It is located at on the Pacific coast, across from the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula. ''Mazatlán'' is a Nahuatl word meaning "place of deer". The city was founded in 1531 by an army of Spaniards and indigenous people. By the mid-19th century, a large group of immigrants arrived from Germany.
