XHCRA-FM
XHCRA-FM is a radio station on 93.1 FM in Álamo Temapache and Tuxpan, Veracruz. It is owned by Radiorama and carries its La Poderosa grupera format. History XHCRA received its concession on November 12, 1993. Originally put out for bid to be located in Cerro Azul, XHCRA was owned by Alejandro Solís Barrera. The current concessionaire was awarded the station in 2015. The tower is on Cerro El Calvario in Álamo Temapache, but XHCRA is based in Tuxpan and is part of a Radiorama cluster that includes XHTVR-FM XHTVR-FM 99.5/XETVR-AM 1150 is a combo radio station in Tuxpan, Veracruz. XHTVR-FM 99.5/XETVR-AM 1150 is a combo radio station in Tuxpan, Veracruz. It is known as Vida Azul and carries a Spanish adult contemporary format. History XETVR received its concession in 1991. Álamo, Veracruz
Álamo is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz that serves as the seat of the surrounding municipality of Temapache. Elevated to city status in 1973, it had 24,159 inhabitants in 2010. The city's name is derived from the many ''álamo'' trees (''Platanus wrightii'') growing along the Pantepec River. The main industry is orange production. History Before European contact, it was occupied by the Huastec people and later by the Aztecs. Around 800-1300 AD, before the Aztec invasion, the territory was occupied by the Totonac and Huastec cultures. Altars from that period, called ''cues'' are found along the banks of the Pantepec River. In 1683, the Dutch pirates Laurens de Graaf (know locally as "Lorencillo") and Nicholas van Hoorn ravaged the region during their capture and looting of the port city of Veracruz. Tuxpan (or Túxpam, fully Túxpam de Rodríguez Cano) is both a municipality and city located in the Mexican state of Veracruz. The population of the city was 78,523 and of the municipality was 134,394 inhabitants, according to the INEGI census of 2005, residing in a total area of .
