XHBH-FM
XHBH-FM 98.5 is a radio station in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. It carries the La Mejor national format from MVS Radio. History XEBH-AM was the first radio station in Hermosillo. It came to air on November 20, 1935, inaugurated by Governor Ramón Ramos. The 500-watt station initially broadcast on 930 kHz and was soon joined by shortwave simulcast XEBR on 11,820 kHz. The first concessionaire was Carlos G. Balderrama. By the 1960s, XEBH had moved down the dial to 920. It was owned by Radiodifusores de Sonora, S. de R.L., the concessionaire for the station until it was sold to MVS in 1994. The station added an FM combo in 1994, XHBH-FM 98.5. In the 2000s, it moved to 590 kHz as part of a swap with XEHQ, then on 590. XHHQ-FM
XHHQ-FM is a radio station on 97.1 FM in Hermosillo, Sonora. The station is owned by Corporativo Radiofonico del Noroeste and carries a grupera format known as La Número Uno. History XEHQ-AM 590 received its concession on July 29, 1942, owned by Radio Hermosillo, S. de R.L. In the 2000s, XEHQ moved to 920 kHz (switching frequencies with XEBH) and was sold to Capital Media. The station migrated to FM in 2011. In December 2017, operation of the station passed from Corporativo Radiofónico del Noroeste to Grupo Larsa Comunicaciones, bringing its Hermosillo station count to four. XHEXA-FM
XHEXA-FM is a Spanish & English Top 40 (CHR) radio station that serves Mexico City and states surrounding the federal district. Broadcasting on 104.9 MHz, XHEXA-FM is owned by MVS Radio and is the flagship station of the Exa FM format. History XHBST-FM signed on in 1974, owned by the same Stereorey consortium that brought FM to major Mexican cities on stations such as XHV-FM 102.5 Mexico City and XHSRO-FM in Monterrey. It carried the "Stereo Best" format, which was very similar. Not long after, it changed formats completely to "FM Globo", a name it would use with varying formats including romantic music, Spanish pop and contemporary music.
