XHBF-FM is a radio station on 98.3 FM in San Pedro, Coahuila, Mexico Mexico (Spanish: México), officially the United Mexican States, is a country in the southern portion of North America. It is bordered to the north by the United States; to the south and west by the Pacific Ocean; to the southeast by Guatema .... The station is operated by GPS Media and known as El Viejón with a Spanish-language oldies format. History XEBF-AM 1150 received its concession on November 26, 1959. Until 2015 it was owned by Radio Coahuila, S.A. It migrated to FM in 2011. Currently, the station was affiliated with Radiorama until 2020. In 2020 GPS Media was born, taking control of several stations including XHBF-FM. The station adopted the name of El Viejón and an old format. RCG Media took over operations in February 2021, but GPS became the operator again in November. San Pedro, Coahuila
San Pedro (formally: San Pedro de las Colonias) is a city located in the southwestern part of the state of Coahuila in Mexico. San Pedro lies east-northeast of the city of Torreón and serves as the seat of the surrounding municipality of the same name. In the 2005 INEGI Census the city had a population of 43,447 inhabitants, while the municipality had a population of 93,377. Grupo Radiorama is the largest owner and operator of radio stations in Mexico. Founded in 1970, the company operated nearly 400 radio stations in 2014. History Radiorama was founded on December 9, 1970, by Javier Pérez de Anda and Adrián Pereda López. The two founders had previous experience at other radio groups, such as Organización Radio Centro and Radiópolis. Radiorama started with 7 stations, but grew to 150 by 1985.
