XHBC-TDT is the Televisa Regional television station in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. The station can also be seen in the Yuma, Arizona / El Centro, California area. KIVA (TV)
KIVA (channel 11) was a television station in Yuma, Arizona, United States. It was the first local television station in Yuma and, for more than half of its existence, the only local station. It signed on October 8, 1953, and signed off January 31, 1970, being affiliated with NBC throughout its history. For more than half of its existence, it was owned by Bruce Merrill. The station shut down because of economic troubles resulting from the presence of three total stations in the market. XETV-TDT (channels 6 and 16) is a television station located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, broadcasting programs from Canal 5 and NU9VE. Its terrestrial signal also covers the San Diego, California area across the international border in the United States. The station is owned by Mexican media company Televisa, and its technical operations and transmitter facilities are located at Mount San Antonio in Tijuana. From its initial sign-on in 1953 until 2017, XETV broadcast English-language programming and operated business offices, and later a studio and newsroom, in San Diego. Foro (English: "Forum"), is a broadcast news television channel owned by TelevisaUnivision. It is seen on most Mexican cable systems and full-time on two stations in Mexico, including XHTV-TDT in Mexico City, with selected programs airing on Televisa Regional and Televisa local stations. Foro is available on most Mexican cable and fiber-optic systems and the SKY Mexico satellite service, as well as on several national cable systems in the United States. History FOROtv launched on cable and satellite on February 15, 2010, and marked Televisa's return to the cable news business after operating the Noticias ECO service between 1988 and 2001. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame Image resolution, resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video.
