XHAVR-FM is a radio station on 89.1 FM in Alvarado, Veracruz Veracruz (), formally Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave), is one of the 31 states which, along with Me ..., Mexico. It carries the news/talk programming of Radio Fórmula. History XEAVR-AM 1540 received its first concession on June 27, 1983. It was owned by Tomás Tejeda Lagos and broadcast as a 5 kW daytimer. In the 1990s, XEAVR was sold to Comunicación Radial del Golfo, S.A. de C.V. It also began broadcasting on 720 kHz with 10 kW day and 250 watts night. XEAVR was transferred to the current concessionaire in 2007 and approved to migrate to FM in 2012. References

XHETF-FM
XHETF-FM is a radio station on 106.1 FM in Veracruz, Veracruz. It is owned by Radio Fórmula and carries its Trión format. History XETF-AM received its first concession on July 4, 1934. The 12-watt station, the first in the port of Veracruz, operated on 1220 kHz and was owned by José Rodríguez López. After his death, ownership passed to Isabel Díaz Vda. de Rodríguez. The station also moved to 1250 kHz, where it would remain until migration, with a power of 1,000 watts day and 500 watts night. In the 1980s, power dropped back to 500 watts. In 1999, the concession was awarded to Juan de Dios Rodríguez Díaz and Miguel Rodríguez Saez. The two sold the station to Radio Fórmula in 2002. Fórmula restored power to 1 kW. In March 2017, XHETF and three other Radio Fórmula FM stations flipped to the Trión format. References

''Alvarado'' (officially: ''Ilustre, Heroica y Generosa Ciudad y Puerto de Alvarado'') is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz. The city also serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name. It is located from the city of Veracruz, Veracruz, on Federal Highways 180 and 125. Alvarado is bordered by Boca del Río, Tlalixcoyan, Medellín, Ignacio de la Llave, ''Ciudad Lerdo de Tejada'', Tlacotalpan and Acula. It is above sea level. Veracruz (), known officially as Heroica Veracruz, is a major port city and municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of Veracruz on the Gulf of Mexico in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Radio Fórmula
Radio Fórmula is a Mexican talk radio network. Founded in 1968, Radio Fórmula programs are broadcast on more than 100 stations in Mexico as well as several stations in the United States. It is the flagship product of Grupo Fórmula, which also owns the TeleFórmula cable news network and PM Onstreet, an outdoor advertising firm. History Grupo Formula traces its beginnings to 1968, when several Mexico City stations were split from Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta’s Radiópolis system. Among these was XEDF-AM 970. By 1984, Radio Fórmula operated five Mexico City stations: 970 AM, 1470 AM, 1500 AM, 103.3 FM and 104.1 FM. On September 19, 1985, Radio Fórmula's headquarters in downtown Mexico City were destroyed by an 8.1 earthquake, which killed several hosts and employees and knocked the AM stations off the air for nearly a month (the FM stations' transmitters are based at the Torre Latinoamericana).
