XETAR-AM (''La Voz de la Sierra Tarahumara'' – "The Voice of the Sierra Madre Occidental, Sierra Tarahumara") is an Indigenous peoples of Mexico, indigenous community radio radio station, station that broadcasts in Spanish (language), Spanish, Tarahumara and Tepehuan language, Northern Tepehuán from Guachochi, in the Mexican state of Chihuahua (state), Chihuahua. The Sistema de Radiodifusoras Culturales Indígenas (SRCI; ) is a state-owned network of radio stations in Mexico. The radio stations it operates are community radio stations that aim to serve different sectors of the country's Indigenous peoples in Mexico, indigenous peoples. Pursuant to Article 4 of the Constitution of Mexico, Constitution, their mission is to strengthen the multicultural nature of the nation by promoting the use of 31 Native American languages, indigenous languages. Guachochi is a city in the south-western portion of the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The city of Guachochi serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name.
