X-Men (vol. 3)
''X-Men ''is an ongoing American comic book series featuring the titular team of superheroes, published by Marvel Comics, beginning in September 2010. The series was preceded by ''The X-Men'' vol. 1 (renamed ''The Uncanny X-Men'' in 1978) and '' X-Men: Legacy'' (initially known as ''X-Men'' vol. 2) from 1991 to 2001, '' New X-Men'' from 2001 to 2004 and again ''X-Men'' from 2004 to 2008). Volume 3 began publication in September 2010 and, for most of its run featuring team-ups between the X-Men and other Marvel characters, ended at issue #41 in February 2013. As part of Marvel NOW!, the title was relaunched as a new series (volume 4) written by Brian Wood and featuring an all-female team. Chris Bachalo (; born August 23, 1965) is a Canadian comic book illustrator known for his quirky, cartoon-like style. He became well known for stints on DC Comics' ''Shade, the Changing Man'' and Neil Gaiman's two Death (Sandman), Death series. Chris has also illustrated several of Marvel Comics' X-Men-related series, including ''Generation X (comics), Generation X'' (which he co-created), ''X-Men: Legacy, X-Men'', ''Uncanny X-Men,'' and ''Ultimate X-Men''. Marvel Now! (stylized as Marvel NOW!) is a comic book branding for the relaunch of several ongoing comic books published by Marvel Comics, that debuted in October 2012 with new #1 issues. The relaunch also included some new titles, including ''Uncanny Avengers'' and '' All-New X-Men''. Described as a shifting of the Marvel Universe following the conclusion of the " Avengers vs. X-Men" storyline, Marvel Now! entailed changes to both the publishing format and the universe to attract new readers. Publishing changes included new creative teams for each of the titles and the in-universe changes included changes to character designs and new storylines. It marked the next stage of the Marvel ReEvolution initiative, which began in March 2012. The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) is fan convention dedicated to comics, pop culture, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television held annually in Chicago. The inaugural event was held April 16–18, 2010, at the McCormick Place in Chicago. Blade (birth name: Eric Cross Brooks;) is a fictional character and antihero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
