Boeing X-20 Dyna-Soar
The Boeing X-20 Dyna-Soar ("Dynamic Soarer") was a United States Air Force (USAF) program to develop a spaceplane that could be used for a variety of military missions, including aerial reconnaissance, bombing, space rescue, satellite maintenance, and as a space interceptor to sabotage enemy satellites. The program ran from October 24, 1957, to December 10, 1963, cost US$660 million ($ in current dollars), and was cancelled just after spacecraft construction had begun. Other spacecraft under development at the time, such as Mercury or Vostok, were space capsules with ballistic re-entry profiles that ended in a landing under a parachute. Dyna-Soar was more like an aircraft. It could travel to distant targets at the speed of an intercontinental ballistic missile, was designed to glide to Earth like an aircraft under the control of a pilot, and could land at an airfield. Fujifilm X20
The Fujifilm X20 is a digital compact camera announced by Fujifilm on January 7, 2013. It is the successor to the Fujifilm X10, with which it shares its lens. However, instead of an EXR colour filter pattern as in the X10, the X20 uses an X-Trans pattern on its sensor. Another advance is that the new sensor supports phase detection autofocus. Concurrently, the image processor was upgraded to version II. The viewfinder no longer is a simple tunnel viewfinder, but includes an information overlay with focus confirmation and exposure data indicated. Another new focusing feature not available in the X10 is focus peaking on the rear display. The X20 can record video at 1080p (FullHD) resolution at 60 frames per second, twice the framerate of its predecessor. A hybrid autofocus system refocuses automatically during video capture. The iRiver X20 is a small, flash memory based portable media player (PMP) from iRiver. It was announced at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show. Initially only 2 and 4 GB versions were announced but soon an 8 GB was also released. Features The X20 is a small device in gloss black with audio and video capability, and also has built-in stereo speakers on its back. Additionally, it has a microSD slot for expandable memory while also offering recording capabilities via microphone in or line in. TGOJ X20
X20, X21, X22 and X23 was a series of two to four car electric multiple units operated by Trafikaktiebolaget Grängesberg-Oxelösunds Järnvägar (TGOJ) of Sweden. Thirteen units were built by Hilding Carlssons Mekaniska Verkstad in 1956–59. One unit was sold to Vy Tåg, Tågkompaniet in 2001 and was the last unit in service after 2003 until it was taken out of service in 2009. The SJ X9 EMUs were partly derived from this type. History The X20-series was in service with TGOJ until 1989 when they were transferred to Statens Järnvägar (SJ) as a consequence of SJ buying TGOJ. The X class was a World War II midget submarine class built for the Royal Navy during 1943–44. It was substantially larger than the original Chariot manned torpedo. Known individually as X-Craft, the vessels were designed to be towed to their intended area of operations by a full-size "mother" submarine – usually one of the T class or S class – with a passage crew on board, the operational crew being transferred from the towing submarine to the X-Craft by dinghy when the operational area was reached, and the passage crew returning with the dinghy to the towing submarine.
