Wymondham
Wymondham ( ) is a market town and civil parish in the South Norfolk district of Norfolk, England, south-west of Norwich off the A11 road to London. The River Tiffey runs through. The parish, one of Norfolk's largest, includes rural areas to the north and south, with hamlets of Suton, Silfield, Spooner Row and Wattlefield. It had a population of 14,405 in 2011, of whom 13,587 lived in the town itself. Development The community developed during the Anglo-Saxon period and expanded with the establishment of a priory in 1107 and a market in 1204. Anglian Combination
The Anglian Combination (known as the Hadley & Ottaway Anglian Combination under the terms of a sponsorship deal) is an English football league that operates in the East Anglia area. The league specifically covers Norfolk and northern Suffolk with rules stating that clubs should be within a 50 miles radius from the centre of Norwich. It consists of 104 teams and has seven divisions – the Premier Division, Division One to Four plus the two regionalised divisions, Division Five North and South. Its top division is currently at step 7 (or level 11) of the National League System. A U19 Development Division was proposed to start in the 2014–15 season depending on interest. FA Charter Standard Award
The FA's Charter Standard Award recognises and rewards high quality of levels of provision in club, league and schools football. There are three levels of FA Charter Standard Award for organisations to recognise the different standards. The entry level is an 'FA Charter Standard Club', the next is an 'FA Charter Development Club', and the most advanced is the 'FA Charter Community Club'. Since it was launched in 2001, the award has been granted to 4,500 clubs with 460 advanced level Community clubs and 120 leagues, and there are now over 2,500 Charter Standard Award Schools in England. The East Anglian League was a football league in the East Anglia region of England. History The league was established in 1903 as the South East Anglian League. The founder member clubs were Chelmsford City, Colchester Crown, Colchester Town, Harwich & Parkeston and Ipswich Town, with Ipswich winning the inaugural league title.
