Wuyi Mountains
The Wuyi Mountains or Wuyishan ( zh, c=武夷山, p=Wǔyí Shān, poj=Bú-î-soaⁿ; formerly known as Bohea Hills in early Western documents) are a mountain range located in the prefecture of Nanping, in northern Fujian, Fujian province near the border with Jiangxi, Jiangxi province, China. Danxia Landform
The Danxia landform () is a set of landscapes found in southeast, southwest and northwest China that "consist of a red Bed (geology), bed characterized by steep cliffs". It is a unique type of petrography, petrographic geomorphology found in China. Danxia landform is formed from red-coloured sandstones and conglomerate (geology), conglomerates of largely Cretaceous age.
