Wu Pang
Wu Pang () (1909–2000) was a Hong Kong Chinese director, producer, production manager, actor, movie planner, writer and the co-founder of the Yong Yao Film Company. Early life On December 21, 1909, Wu was born in Shanghai, Republic of China. Career Wu and producer Zhenjiang Yongyao started making films in 1938. At the age of 30, Wu began making films of folk hero Wong Fei Hung which starred actor and martial artist Kwan Tak-hing, also known as Kwan Te-hsing by film producer Raymond Chow Man Wai. Over the course of his life, Wu directed nearly 200 movies and received the Lifetime Achievement Awards by the Hong Kong Film Critics' Association in 1999. Wong Fei-hung
Wong Fei-hung (born Wong Sek-cheung with the courtesy name Tat-wun; 19 August 1847 – 17 April 1925) was a Chinese martial artist, physician, and folk hero. Though he was considered an expert in the Hung Ga style of Chinese martial arts, his real public fame was as a physician who practiced and taught acupuncture, Dit Da (Chinese chiropractics) and other forms of traditional Chinese medicine in the now defunct Po Chi Lam (), a medical clinic in Canton (Guangzhou), Guangdong Province. Kwan Tak-hing
Kwan Tak-hing (27 June 1905 – 28 June 1996) was a Hong Kong martial artist and actor best known for his portrayal of martial artist folk hero Wong Fei-hung in at least 77 films, between the 1940s and the 1980s. No one else in cinema history has portrayed the same person as many times. In total he made over 130 films. He was elected in 1955 as the chairman of the Chinese Artist Association of Hong Kong. Raymond Chow Man Wai
Raymond Chow Man-wai ( zh, t=鄒文懷; 8 October 1927 – 2 November 2018) was a Hong Kong film producer and presenter. He was responsible for successfully launching martial arts and the Hong Kong cinema onto the international stage. As the founder of Golden Harvest, he produced some of the biggest stars of the martial arts film genre, including Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan.
