Wrestling At The 2014 Summer Youth Olympics
Wrestling at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 25 to 27 August at the Longjiang Gymnasium in Nanjing, China. Qualification Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) can enter a maximum of 5 competitors, 2 in Boys' Freestyle, 2 in Boys' Greco-Roman and 1 in Girls' Freestyle. 98 athletes, 70 male and 28 female qualified over five continental qualification tournament. Each continent qualified 1 athlete in each event while the Americas in Boys' Freestyle, Asia in Boys' Greco-Roman and Girls' Freestyle and Europe in all three qualified a second athlete in each event. Despite being hosts, China was not given any quotas and had to qualify normally. A further 14, 10 male and 4 female athletes was decided by the Tripartite Commission. To be eligible to participate at the Youth Olympics athletes must have been born between 1 January 1997 and 31 December 1998. Fatih () is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 15 km2, and its population is 368,227 (2022). Ri Se-ung
Ri Se-ung (born 22 December 1998) is a North Korean Greco-Roman wrestler. He won one of the bronze medals in the 60kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. He is a three-time medalist, including gold, at the Asian Wrestling Championships in the men's 60kg event. Career Ri won the gold medal in the men's 42kg event at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics held in Nanjing, China. In 2019, Ri represented North Korea at the Military World Games held in Wuhan, China and he won the gold medal in the 60kg event. Sargis Hovsepyan (; born on 2 November 1972) is an Armenian professional football coach and a former player who played as a right-back. Hovsepyan was the long-time captain of the Armenia national team. He participated in 133 international matches and scored two goals since his debut in the national team's first game in a home friendly match against Moldova on 14 October 1992. Hovsepyan ended his career on 14 November 2012 at the age of 39, just over a month before turning 40 years old. He was the last member of the first Armenia national team to retire. After his final match, he was awarded the Medal of the City Hall. A month after the completion of his playing career, he was appointed director of the Armenia national team.
