Wray () is the List of cities and towns in Colorado#Home rule municipality, home rule municipality that is the county seat of Yuma County, Colorado, Yuma County, Colorado, United States. WRAY-TV (Indiana)
WRAY-TV was a television station broadcasting on channel 52 in Princeton, Indiana, United States. The station was owned and operated alongside radio station WRAY (1250 AM). It broadcast regular programming for just seven months, from December 1953 to July 1954, but broadcast one day a year through 1960 to carry a March of Dimes telethon. History The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) granted the application of the Princeton Broadcasting Corporation, owner of WRAY, to build a television station on Princeton's assigned channel 52 on March 12, 1953. WRAY announced that it would use as much of the existing facilities and personnel as it could, expanding its building on Broadway Street to house the new operation. The facility was designed with a north–south directional pattern, to beam a signal toward Vincennes and Evansville. The Wrays, also known as The Wray Brothers Band, were an American country music group from Texas composed of Bubba Wray, Scotty Wray, Jim Covert, Lynn Phillips and Joe Dale Cleghorn. Wray Castle
Wray Castle is a Victorian Gothic Revival architecture, neo-gothic building at Claife in Cumbria within the boundaries of the Historic counties of England, historic county of Lancashire. The house and grounds have belonged to the National Trust since 1929, with the house open to the public on a regular basis until 2024. The Castle is now closed for refurbishment until 2027. Vina Fay Wray (September 15, 1907 – August 8, 2004) was a Canadian-American actress best known for starring as Ann Darrow in the 1933 film ''King Kong''. Through an acting career that spanned nearly six decades, Wray attained international recognition as an actress in horror films. She has been dubbed the first "scream queen". She had minor film roles, and gained media attention as one of the "WAMPAS Baby Stars" in 1926. There have been two Wray Baronetcies, both created in the Baronetage of England. The first was created on 25 November 1611 for Sir William Wray, 1st Baronet, of Glentworth, William Wray of Glentworth, Lincolnshire, and became extinct upon the death of the 15th Baronet in 1809. The second was created on 27 June 1660 for Sir William Wray, 1st Baronet, of Ashby, William Wray of Ashby, Lincolnshire. He was the grandson of the 1st Baronet of Glentworth, and his son, Sir Christopher Wray, Christopher Wray, inherited the 1660 baronetcy in 1669 and the 1611 baronetcy, as the 6th Baronet, in 1672. WRAY-TV (channel 30) is a religious television station licensed to Wake Forest, North Carolina, United States, serving the Research Triangle region as an owned-and-operated station of Tri-State Christian Television (TCT).
