Wraith (Zak-Del) is a fictional character appearing in American comic book, American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and Kyle Hotz, Wraith first appears in the prologue of ''Annihilation: Conquest'' as a vision, with his first physical appearance being in ''Annihilation Conquest: Wraith'' #1. Publication history Wraith first appeared in ''Annihilation: Conquest: Wraith'' #1 (2007) and was created by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and Kyle Hotz. Wraith returned in Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw's 2019 relaunch of ''Guardians of the Galaxy (2008 team), Guardians of the Galaxy''. Fictional character biography Wraith is the son of Kree scientist Sim-Del, who created a power source sufficient to "light an entire galaxy". The Kree banished him, but he continued his work, using the power source to turn a barren Minor planet, planetoid into a paradise. The Kree killed Sim-Del, his wife, and all traces of his work. Clint Langley
Clint Langley (born July 30, 1970) is a British comic book artist best known for his work on series with Pat Mills at ''2000 AD (comics), 2000 AD'' and as the cover artist for Marvel Comics' ''Guardians of the Galaxy (2008 team), Guardians of the Galaxy''. He is an artist who combines painting, photography and digital art and as well as his work in comics, he has provided the art for role-playing games and collectible cards. Early life Langley went to Hastings College of Arts and Technology, Hastings College and studied art and design. Career Langley's first published work was with ''Nightfall Games, Nighfall Games's'' role-playing game ''SLA Industries'' in 1993. His work appeared in their first three books, SLA Industries, Karma and Mort, for which he painted the cover. He also provided the large wrap-around painting for the game's GM's screen.
