Jean Claude Wouters (born 1956, Brussels, Belgium) is a multidisciplinary artist, dancer, film maker and painter. He studied art at ERG Brussels, film at INSAS Brussels, performing art at MUDRA Brussels. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles after stints in Paris, Italy, Dubai, Brussels and Tokyo. Wayne G. Wouters, (born April 1951) is a Canadian former public servant and past Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet. He retired as Clerk on October 3, 2014, and was replaced by Janice Charette. Life and career Wouters was born in Edam, Saskatchewan. Stefan Wouters (born 1972) is a Belgian visual artist, curator and researcher of Happenings and Performance art. Wouters was born in Antwerp. While working in the family business of his parents, he studied painting and drawing at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (DKO). He soon started to exhibit his paintings and the work of his fellow students in and around Antwerp. Inspired by the art history classes he attended at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Wouters decided to study Art History and Archaeology at the Free University of Brussels (VUB). Hendrik Emil (Rik) Wouters (21 August 1882 – 11 July 1916) was a Belgian painter, sculptor and draughtsman. Wouters produced 200 paintings, drawings and sculptures in his 34 years before his illness-caused death. He died partway through the First World War on 11 July 1916 in Amsterdam. Michaelina Wautier, also Woutiers (1604–1689), was a painter from the Southern Netherlands. Only since the turn of the 21st century has her work been recognized as that of the outstanding female artist of Flemish Baroque painting, her works having been previously attributed to male artists, especially her brother Charles.
