Worshipful Company Of Framework Knitters
The Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters is one of the livery companies of the City of London. It was incorporated by letters patent issued by Oliver Cromwell in 1657, with a royal charter from Charles II in 1663. It was granted livery status in 1713. For a period it had its own hall in Red Cross Street, however for various reasons it was sold. Oliver Cromwell
Oliver Cromwell (25 April 15993 September 1658) was an English statesman, politician and soldier, widely regarded as one of the most important figures in British history. Oadby is a town in the borough of Oadby and Wigston in Leicestershire, England. Oadby is a district centre south-east of Leicester on the A6 road (England), A6 road.
