World Rally Drivers Alliance
The World Rally Drivers Alliance (WoRDA) is the trade union of World Rally Championship drivers. Though talks of a rally drivers' trade association in emulation of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association had been around since the Group B era, particularly during the 1986 World Rally Championship when an accident involving Joaquim Santos's Ford RS200 during that year's Rally de Portugal killed four spectators, the WoRDA had only been formalised in 2025 by retired co-driver Julien Ingrassia and former Toyota teammate Scott Martin amidst calls by rally crews for an avenue to voice their concerns and complaints. Julien Ingrassia
Julien Ingrassia (born 26 November 1979) is a retired French people, French rally (sports), rally co-driver. Working with Sébastien Ogier, he became World Rally Champion in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 with Volkswagen Motorsport, 2017 World Rally Championship, 2017 and 2018 World Rally Championship, 2018 with M-Sport World Rally Team, and in 2020 World Rally Championship, 2020 and 2021 World Rally Championship, 2021 with Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT. Career While starting his professional life as a salesman, Julien Ingrassia discovered rallying and made his debut as a codriver in 2002 in France's Critérium des Cévennes. Mohammed Ben Sulayem
Mohammed Ahmad Sultan Ben Sulayem (; born 12 November 1961) is an Emirati former rally driver and motorsports executive who serves as president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body of many auto racing events including Formula One. Ben Sulayem began his career as a rally driver in the 1980s. He became one of the most successful Middle East Rally Championship drivers, winning 14 titles. In 2005, he became the President of the Emirates Motorsports Organization, the representative of the United Arab Emirates in the FIA. In 2008, he was elected as a Vice President for sport and a member of the FIA World Motor Sport Council. He was key to organizing the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2009.
