Woo Ming Jin
Woo Ming Jin is a Malaysian film director, writer and producer. His films have screened in film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin and Venice. He is also the co-founder of Greenlight Pictures, a film and television production house based in Kuala Lumpur. Biography Early career Woo Ming Jin was born and raised in Malaysia. At 19 years old, he went to the United States to study business in Boston but he had always wanted to be a filmmaker. He was then accepted to San Diego State University and earned a Master's degree in Film and Television Production. Los Angeles Film Festival
The LA Film Festival was an annual film festival that was held in Los Angeles, California, and usually took place in June. Edmund Yeo
Edmund Yeo (born 6 March 1984, in Singapore) is a Malaysian film director, screenwriter and film producer. He first received international acclaim in 2009 when his Japanese-language short film, Kingyo, premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Since 2009, Yeo has written and directed fourteen short films and feature films to date and has won international awards, including the Best Director Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival for Aqérat (We, The Dead) in 2017. The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (), or BiFan, is an international film festival held annually in July in Bucheon, South Korea. ''Buku FIXI'' is a Malaysian independent publisher founded in 2011 by filmmaker Amir Muhammad. The company specializes not only in contemporary urban fiction - both in Malay and English - but also Malay translations of foreign titles, and graphic novels. Some of these novels have also been adapted into films, bringing the publisher's name further into the Malaysian mainstream.
