''Wonder Age'' is the debut album by alternative rock band Air Dubai, released on October 5, 2010 with production by Andrew Guerrero. Background On September 29, 2010 Air Dubai gave an interview with Westword Magazinebr>announcing that their initial idea to release an EP had been scrapped and they planned to release a full-length album instead. This news came as a hard decision to the band as they had been performing as a full 7-member group for a full year and had yet to release any material. After spending a month writing, recording for Wonder Age began in July 2010 where within a full week they finished tracking and mixing the 11 song album in Fort Collins, Colorado at The Blasting Room. Singles The band released "Restless Youth" as the album's lead single in conjunction with Channel 93.3's Hometown For The Holiday's Competition in December 2010. Air Dubai is an American six-piece hip hop band from Denver, Colorado, United States. The band is composed of vocalists Julian Church and Jon Shockness, with Lawrence Grivich (guitar), Michael Ray (keyboards/synth), Taylor Tait (bass), and Nick Spreigl (drums). The band is known for their highly energetic live performances and their sound has been characterized as a mixture of R&B, jazz, and alternative rock. The Blasting Room
The Blasting Room is a recording studio in Fort Collins, Colorado. Founded by members of the punk rock band All in 1994, it is owned and operated by musician Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag, All, Only Crime) and Jason Livermore. The studio is known for recording and producing many punk rock bands, with Stevenson and Livermore serving as in-house audio engineers and record producers. In July 1994, the members of All relocated from Brookfield, Missouri to Fort Collins. Using money from their recent recording contract with Interscope Records, they designed and began construction of The Blasting Room with the help of guitarist Stephen Egerton's father, Dan O' Reilly.
