Wolves (Candlebox Album)
''Wolves'' is a 2021 studio album by American grunge band Candlebox. The album was recorded in late 2019 into early 2020, but release was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The album continues exploring pop rock that started with 2016's ''Disappearing in Airports'' and has received positive reviews from critics. Reception Writing for '' Classic Rock'', Malcolm Dome gave this album a 7 out of 10, writing that the band "are still a force", writing that it is "another winner "laced with the instant melodic sensibility and spikey grunge style rhythms which have always been the Seattle band’s trademark". '' Glide Magazine''s Jeremy Lukens wrote that Candlebox "still has some good rock music to share" and that the album successfully mixes hard rock with lighter pop tunes. Candlebox is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. Since its formation in 1990, the group has released seven studio albums, several charting singles, a compilation, and a CD+DVD. Candlebox found immediate success with the release of its self-titled debut album in July 1993. ''Candlebox'' featured four singles: "Change", " You", " Far Behind" and "Cover Me". "Far Behind" reached the top 20, and the album was certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. The band's next album, '' Lucy'' (1995), was certified gold, and was followed three years later by '' Happy Pills'' (1998). After troubles with its record company, Candlebox broke up in 2000. An acoustic guitar is a musical instrument in the string family. When a string is plucked its vibration is transmitted from the bridge, resonating throughout the top of the guitar. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication).
