Wojciech Tkacz
Wojciech Maciej Tkacz (born 14 May 1969) is a Polish former ice hockey player. He played for GKS Katowice, Mora IK, Unia Oświęcim, and GKS Tychy during his career. He also played for the Polish national team at the 1992 Winter Olympics, and multiple World Championships. GKS Katowice is a professional ice hockey team in Katowice, Poland. The team was founded in 1964. GKS Katowice won six Polska Liga Hokejowa titles between 1958 and 1970. From 2017 to 2019 the name of the club was changed to Tauron KH GKS Katowice, due to sponsorship by Tauron Group. Ekstraklasa (ice Hockey)
The Polish ice hockey Ekstraklasa ( pl, Ekstraliga polska w hokeju na lodzie) was the premier ice hockey league in Poland. Previously, it was known as the I Liga or Ekstraklasa from 1926–1999, and the Polska Liga Hokejowa from 1999–2013. In 2013, it was reorganized as a limited liability company and renamed the Polska Hokej Liga. History The championship started in 1925-26. GKS Tychy is a Polish professional football club, based in Tychy, Poland, that plays in the Polish I Liga. The club was founded on 20 April 1971. It played in the Ekstraklasa between 1974–1977. The biggest success of GKS Tychy was the 2nd place in the 1975/76 season of the Ekstraklasa, behind Stal Mielec. As a result, the team played in the UEFA Cup 1976–77, losing to 1. FC Köln. History In 1963 in Katowice a special organizational committee was called with the purpose of uniting all the clubs and sporting organizations of the city into one large club which would encompass many disciplines. Mora IK
Mora IK (or Mora Ishockeyklubb) is a Swedish professional ice hockey club from Mora in northern Dalarna. After failing the 2019 SHL qualifiers, Mora has been relegated for play in the second-tier league, HockeyAllsvenskan. Mora has previously played 25 seasons in the top tier, including four seasons in Elitserien (as the SHL was called at the time). The team has reached the finals of the Swedish Championships only once, in 1950, a match which they lost 7–2 to Djurgårdens IF. Mora has played in the top two tiers of Swedish hockey since the 1944–45 season. History Mora IK was founded in 1935. In 1945, the club reached the top tier of ice hockey in Sweden for the first time, and participated in their first (and to date only) Swedish Championship final in 1950.
