''The Wog Boy'' is a 2000 Australian comedy film directed by Aleksi Vellis and starring Nick Giannopoulos, Vince Colosimo, Lucy Bell, Abi Tucker, Stephen Curry, Tony Nikolakopoulos and Derryn Hinch. Whilst the word wog is extremely derogatory in British English, in Australian English it may be considered non-offensive depending on how the word is used, due to reclamation and changing connotations. Nicholas "Nick" Giannopoulos (; born 1 July 1963) is an Australian stand-up comedian, stage, TV and film actor and film director. He is best known for his comedy stage show '' Wogs Out of Work'' alongside George Kapiniaris, the television sitcom '' Acropolis Now'' and '' The Wog Boy'' film series and has been described as "Australia's leading exponent of " wog" humour". Chrysler Valiant
The Chrysler Valiant was a full-size car which was sold by Chrysler Australia between 1962 and 1981. Initially a rebadged locally assembled Plymouth Valiant from the United States, from the second generation launched in 1963, the Valiant was fully manufactured in Australia. It was sold locally but also in New Zealand and South Africa, with smaller numbers also exported to South-East Asia and the United Kingdom. Deni Hines
Dohnyale Sharon "Deni" Hines (born 4 September 1970) is an Australian singer who has been releasing music since the early 1980s, with chart success in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Europe. She is the daughter of American-born Australian singer Marcia Hines. "Pull Up to the Bumper" is a song by Jamaican singer, songwriter, model and actress Grace Jones, released in June 1981 by Island Records as the third single from her fifth album, '' Nightclubbing'' (1981). Sonically, it is an uptempo electro-disco, post-punk, dance-pop and reggae-disco song with dub production, "pulsing drums and chic new-wave licks", as well as being described as a hybrid of funk and R&B. Its lyrics were written by Jones alone, while she, along with Kookoo Baya and Dana Manno, are credited as its composers. The song's instrumental part was originally recorded in 1980 during the ''Warm Leatherette'' sessions; however, it did not make the album as Chris Blackwell found its sound not fitting in the rest of the material. Ilanda
Ilanda were an Australian-based vocal harmony and dance group which formed in 1991 as Past to Present. Initially a four-piece, with Leighton Hema, Frank Laga'aia, Lennie Keller and his brother, Norman Keller. They are all New Zealand-born, though their heritage is Samoan. Past to Present teamed with Peter Andre to feature on his single, "Get Down on It" (February 1996), which peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and No. 1 on the New Zealand Singles Chart. Cezary Jan Skubiszewski (born 1948) is a Polish-born Australian film and television composer. He composed the film scores for ''Two Hands'' (1999), ''Red Dog'' (2011), '' The Sapphires ('' 2012) and the TV series, '' Picnic at Hanging Rock'' (2018). Personal life and education Skubiszewski was born in Warsaw, Poland. His mother was a concert pianist. Charles William Tingwell AM (3 January 1923 – 15 May 2009), known professionally as Bud Tingwell or Charles 'Bud' Tingwell, was an Australian actor.
