Wladimiro Falcone (born 12 April 1995) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serie A club Lecce. Club career Sampdoria Born in Rome, Falcone played for local Roman clubs Lodigiani and Vigor Perconti, before joining the youth academy of Ligurian club Sampdoria. He was the first choice of their reserve team from 2012 to 2014, while also appearing as unused bench for the first team. Loans On 25 July 2014, Falcone was signed by Lega Pro club Como in a temporary deal. The club won promotion to Serie B in 2015 as the promotion playoffs winner. Wladimiro Calarese
Wladimiro Calarese (3 October 1930 – 13 August 2005) was an Italian sabre fencer. He won two bronze medals at the 1960 Summer Olympics and two silver medals, at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics. He also competed at the Mediterranean Games in 1955 and 1963 winning gold medals in the team sabre events. After retiring from competitions Calarese attained a PhD at New York University and until his death in 2005 lived in the United States. He spent most of his career as a researcher at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, but also taught fencing at Wright State University Wright State University is a public research university in Fairborn, Ohio, United States. Wladimiro Panizza (5 June 1945 – 21 June 2002) was an Italian professional road bicycle racer. Panizza came from a Communist family and was named after Lenin. During his long career (1967–1985), he helped Felice Gimondi and Franco Bitossi. His best grand tour was the 1980 Giro d'Italia, where he placed second in the overall classification. He holds the record for number of starts and number of completions in the Giro, completing the race 16 times out of 18 starts. Wladimiro "Tony" de Tommaso (born 1 July 1951) is an Italian former racing driver from Brindisi. De Tommaso began his career in regional rallying in the late 1970s. He competed in the Italian Formula Three Championship from 1981 to 1983 without a podium finish. He returned to racing in 1988 to race in International Formula 3000 but in three attempts he failed to qualify for any races so for 1989 he returned to Italian F3 for two races. In 1991 he attempted to make his CART World Series debut in Denver but he failed to qualify. Wladimiro Ganzarolli (January 9, 1932 – January 13, 2010) was an Italian operatic bass-baritone, particularly associated with Mozart and Rossini roles. Born in Venice, he studied in his native city at the Conservatorio di Musica Benedetto Marcello di Venezia with Iris Adami Corradetti. He made his debut at the Teatro Nuovo in Milan, as Mephisto in ''Faust'', in 1958. The following year, he appeared at the Spoleto Festival in Donizetti's '' Il duca d'Alba'', and at the Piccola Scala in Paisiello's '' Nina''.
