"Wizard" is a song by Dutch DJs and record producers Martin Garrix and Jay Hardway. It was released as a Music download, digital download on 2 December 2013 on iTunes. The song peaked at number 6 in Belgium, number 7 in the United Kingdom, and number 17 in the Netherlands. The song was written and produced by Garrix and Hardway. Composition The song leads with a "spooky melody" and has similar elements to Garrix's previous single "Animals (Martin Garrix song), Animals". Music video A music video to accompany the release of "Wizard" was first released onto YouTube on 19 November 2013 at a total length of three minutes and thirty-seven seconds (actual length is three minutes and thirty-one seconds due to the record label's introduction). Martijn Gerard Garritsen (; born 14 May 1996), known professionally as Martin Garrix (or Ytram and GRX), is a Dutch Republic, Dutch DJ and record producer who was ranked number one on ''DJ Mag''s Top 100 DJs list for three consecutive years—2016, 2017, and 2018. Yellow Claw is a Dutch DJ and record production duo from Amsterdam consisting of Jim Taihuttu, based in Bali, and Nils Rondhuis, based in Amsterdam. The duo's music is a mix of a wide range of genres and often incorporates elements from trap, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombahton. Career Yellow Claw first gained popularity in the middle of 2010, after founding and hosting a night party at one of Amsterdam's most famous night clubs, the Jimmy Woo. Spinnin' Records is a Dutch electronic music record label founded in 1999 by Eelko van Kooten and Roger de Graaf. In September 2017, Warner Music Group acquired Spinnin' Records for over $100 million. The Dutch Top 40 () is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore radio, offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Willem van Kooten, Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands.
