Wishful Thinking (Neck Deep Album)
''Wishful Thinking'' is the debut studio album by the Welsh pop punk band Neck Deep. Vocalist Ben Barlow met guitarist Lloyd Roberts when Roberts was working with Barlow's brother, Seb. Following the upload of a song under the artist name Neck Deep, the song gained attention. This attention resulted in the duo obtaining guitarist Matt West, drummer Dani Washington and bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans. The band released two EPs, ''Rain in July'' (2012) and '' A History of Bad Decisions''. In March 2013 the band started recording material at Celestial Recordings in Wrexham, where they began recording guitar, bass and vocals. The group then moved to Outhouse Studio in Reading, where they recorded drums. Material was produced by Seb Barlow and the band. In mid-August, the group had signed to Hopeless, and by late August, they announced the album had been finished. "Crushing Grief (No Remedy)" was released as a single in October 2013. Neck Deep
Neck Deep are a Welsh pop-punk band formed in Wrexham in 2012. They released a pair of EPs, ''Rain in July'' (2012) and '' A History of Bad Decisions'' (2013), before signing with Hopeless in August 2013. Neck Deep was founded after vocalist Ben Barlow met former lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts; the pair posted a song ("What Did You Expect?") online under the name Neck Deep. The song soon gained attention online, resulting in the addition of rhythm guitarist Matt West, drummer Dani Washington/Abasi, and bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans. Knuckle Puck
Knuckle Puck is an American rock band, formed in 2010 in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. The band's name comes from the "knucklepuck" shot in ice hockey, which was popularized by the 1994 film '' D2: The Mighty Ducks''. The group has released several EPs, one of which, '' While I Stay Secluded'' (2014), peaked at number 5 on the Heatseekers Albums chart. Noisecreep is a hard rock and heavy metal music news and media website based in the United States. The site was created by AOL Music in March 2009. Noisecreep was the fourth genre-specific music website owned by AOL after the rock music website Spinner, country music website TheBoot and hip hop music website TheBoomBox. Noisecreep is also part of AOL's MediaGlow publishing division which was created in January 2009. The site publishes music news and interviews presented in a blog-like format, with an emphasis on lesser-known hard rock and heavy metal bands. According to Mike Rich, AOL's head of the entertainment department, "right now with heavy metal and hard rock, unless you're AC/DC or Metallica, you're not getting much play. The Independent Albums chart (previously titled Top Independent Albums) ranks the highest-selling independent music albums and extended plays (EPs) in the United States, as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan and published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. It is used to list artists who are not signed to major labels. Rankings are compiled by point-of-purchase sales obtained by Nielsen, and from legal music downloads from a variety of online music stores. The chart began in the week of February 5, 2000. The Heatseekers charts were "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. Seaway (band)
Seaway is a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario signed to Pure Noise Records and Dine Alone Records. The band has released three EPs and four studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2011–2013) Seaway formed in 2011 in Oakville, Ontario, consisting of Ryan Locke on lead vocals, Patrick Carleton on rhythm guitar and vocals, Andrew Eichinger on lead guitar, Adam Shoji on bass, and Ken Taylor on drums.
