Stephan Winkelmann (born 18 October 1964) is a German manager and has been President of Bugatti Automobiles since January 1, 2018 and also President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. since December 1, 2020. Life As a young child, Winkelmann moved with his parents from Berlin to Rome, as his father worked as a diplomat at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Dame Helen Diana Winkelmann (born 1962) is the 13th and current Chief Justice of New Zealand, having been sworn in on 14 March 2019. She is the second woman to hold the position, following her immediate predecessor, Sian Elias. Early life and family Winkelmann was born in 1962 to Kathleen Winkelmann (née Papich), of Croatian descent, and her husband Douglas Winkelmann. She was raised in the Auckland suburb of Blockhouse Bay, and educated at Lynfield College. Hermann Winkelmann (or Winckelmann) (8 March 1849 – 18 January 1912) was a German Heldentenor, notable for creating the title role in Richard Wagner's ''Parsifal'' in 1882. Biography Hermann Winkelmann was born in Braunschweig in 1849. Christian Herman Winkelmann (September 12, 1883 – November 19, 1946) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Wichita from 1940 to 1946. He previously served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of St. Louis in Missouri from 1933 to 1940. Biography Early life Christian Winkelmann was born on September 12, 1883, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John and Anna (née Becker) Winkelmann. He attended St. Francis Solanus College in Quincy, Illinois, then returned to Missouri to enter Kenrick Seminary in St. Louis. Winkelmann was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of St. Louis on June 11, 1907. Eduard Winkelmann (June 25, 1838 – February 10, 1896) was a German historian. Biography He was born at Danzig (Gdańsk) in the Province of Prussia. He studied at the universities of Berlin and Göttingen, worked at the ''Monumenta Germaniae historica'', and in 1869 became professor of history at the University of Bern, and four years later at Heidelberg. He also spent some time in the Russian Empire, where he was headmaster at the knight and chapter school in Reval (Tallinn) beginning in 1860, and was later appointed professor at the University of Dorpat (1865). He died at Heidelberg.
