Windows Feedback Hub
Feedback Hub is a universal app produced by Microsoft. It is designed to allow normal Windows users and Windows Insider users to provide feedback, feature suggestions, and bug reports for the operating system. It is available in the Microsoft Store and sometimes bundled with Windows 10 and Windows 11. History Windows Feedback In Windows 7 betas, there was a Feedback feature in the Control Panel, and many apps had links to "Send Feedback" next to their window controls. Windows 7 betas also collected telemetry. In Windows 8, telemetry was still collected but there was no organized method for users to provide and aggregate feedback. This limitation famously led to Microsoft developers removing the Start button and Windows Aero despite users' requests to leave those features in Windows. A Likert scale ( ,) is a psychometric scale named after its inventor, American social psychologist Rensis Likert, which is commonly used in research questionnaires. It is the most widely used approach to scaling responses in survey research, such that the term (or more fully the Likert-type scale) is often used interchangeably with '' rating scale'', although there are other types of rating scales. Neowin is a technology news website. Editorial focus is predominantly on Microsoft-related news, but the site also offers analysis and reporting on mobile news, tech trends, gadgets and new technological developments, as well as in-depth product reviews. History Neowin was begun as a hobby in October 2000 by Marcel Klum, Lee Logan and Steven Parker, known within the forums as "Redmak", "Cr1t1cal" and "Neobond", respectively, reporting news about the Windows XP alpha and beta releases (then known as "Windows Codename Whistler"). Windows Media Center
Windows Media Center (WMC) is a discontinued digital video recorder and media player created by Microsoft. Media Center was first introduced to Windows in 2002 on Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE). It was included in Home Premium and Ultimate editions of Windows Vista, as well as all editions of Windows 7 except Starter and Home Basic. It was also available on Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8.1 Pro as a paid add-on. It was discontinued as of Windows 10 and the operating system also removes all of Windows Media Center during an upgrade from previous versions of Windows, although it can reportedly be unofficially reinstalled using a series of Command Prompt commands. Sticky Notes
Sticky Notes is a desktop notes application included in Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11. The app loads quickly and enables users to quickly take notes using post-it note–like windows on their desktop. Sticky Notes originated in Windows XP Tablet Edition in 2002 and was included with Windows Vista as a gadget for the Windows Sidebar. According to Microsoft, there were eight million monthly Sticky Notes users as of April 2016. It is built in on Outlook.com and Microsoft Teams. Development The original Sticky Notes was a gadget included with Windows Vista.
