Wilton López
Wilton López (born July 19, 1983) is a Nicaraguan former professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies. Professional career López signed with the New York Yankees in 2002. He played in their minor league system until he was released in 2007. He signed with the San Diego Padres two days later. In 2007, López played for the Fort Wayne Wizards and Lake Elsinore Storm, going 1–0 with a 3.30 ERA in 22 games for the former and 2–1 with a 6.10 ERA in 22 games for the latter. He played for the Storm, San Antonio Missions and Portland Beavers in 2008, going 2–1 with a 2.64 ERA in 30 games with the Storm, 0–2 with a 4.93 ERA in 27 games with the Missions, and 0–0 with a 9.00 ERA in one game with the Beavers. The Lake Elsinore Storm are a Minor League Baseball team based in Lake Elsinore, California. The Storm compete in the California League as the Single-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The team plays its home games at Lake Elsinore Diamond, which opened in 1994; the park seats 7,866 occupants. History This team relocated three times and has been traced back to the Redwood Pioneers, then the Palm Springs Angels, and finally the Lake Elsinore Storm. 2019 Pan American Games Qualifier
The 2019 Pan American Games Qualifier is a baseball tournament that was held between January 29 and February 3, 2019 in Ibiúna and São Paulo, Brazil. The tournament qualified the last four teams to the Baseball at the 2019 Pan American Games tournament in Lima, Peru. Four teams qualified for the 2019 Pan American Games: Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Qualification Canada and the USA qualified automatically along with the hosts Brazil, and five teams not qualifying for the 2019 Pan American Games, from the Baseball at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games also qualifying. The United States withdrew, meaning the Dominican Republic as the next best ranked team from the Central American and Caribbean Games replaced them. Alex Bruce White (born August 29, 1988) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians and the Colorado Rockies. Amateur career White attended D. H. Conley High School in Greenville, North Carolina, where he helped lead the school's baseball team to two state championships. After his senior year of high school, he attended the University of North Carolina, where he played college baseball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. In 2007 and 2008, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Chatham A's of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
