Wilson Reis
Wilson Reis (born January 6, 1985) is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the Flyweight division. Reis is the former EliteXC Bantamweight Champion and has also competed for UFC, Bellator, ShoXC and Cage Warriors. Reis also appeared as an assistant Jiu-Jitsu coach in Dominick Cruz's team on The Ultimate Fighter: Live. Background Reis received his black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu from instructor Roberto Godoi. As a brown belt he won the 2004 Jiu Jitsu World Championships. Reis was crowned the first and only EliteXC Bantamweight champion on September 26, 2008. He trains at BJJ United in Pennsylvania and at Daddis Fight Camps in New Jersey and Philadelphia. He previously taught Brazilian jiu-jitsu and No-gi at Tri-State Martial Arts Academy in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Reis formerly competed in Bellator Fighting Championships. Januária is a municipality in northern Minas Gerais state, Brazil. It is located on the left bank of the São Francisco River. Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact fighting combat sport, sport based on strike (attack), striking and grappling; incorporating techniques from various combat sports from around the world. In the early 20th century, various inter-stylistic contests took place throughout Japan and the countries of East Asia. Henry Justin Martinez (born August 7, 1983) is an American mixed martial artist who last competed in the Lightweight division. A professional competitor since 2006, Martinez formerly competed for the UFC and Bellator. Mixed martial arts Ultimate Fighting Championship Martinez was signed to the UFC and stepped in to fight Matthew Riddle at welterweight on February 4, 2012 at UFC 143 after Riddle's original opponent Jorge Lopez was injured. Abel Cullum (born April 21, 1987) is an American professional mixed martial artist and former King of the Cage Flyweight Champion. Mixed martial arts career King of the Cage Cullum made his debut for the King of the Cage promotion in November 2006. In May 2008, he won the promotion's Flyweight (135 lbs) title and successfully defend the title four times over the next two years. He recently lost the title to Jimmie Rivera via split decision. The use of colored belts is a relatively recent invention dating from the 1880s. Dominick Rogelio Cruz (born March 9, 1985) is an American former professional mixed martial artist, sports analyst and color commentator. He competed in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is the first ever and former two-time UFC Bantamweight Champion. Cruz has also competed for World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), and was the final WEC Bantamweight Champion. He is considered to be one of the greatest bantamweight fighters of all time. ''ShoXC'' is a mixed martial arts series produced by the mixed martial arts organization EliteXC, Showtime and Proelite.com. The series was announced on July 11, 2007. The purpose of the show is to highlight up and coming MMA fighters. On October 20, 2008, ProElite, the parent company of EliteXC, informed its employees and fighters that they were shutting down. The company filed for bankruptcy protection and all future events were canceled. A breakdown in the negotiations with Showtime Networks to purchase ProElite resulted in the company's funding to disappear, forcing them out of business. ShoXC events were later replaced on Showtime by ShoMMA events put on by Strikeforce, after purchasing EliteXC's assets.
