Willy Fog
''Around the World with Willy Fog'' () is a Spanish animated television adaptation of the 1873 novel ''Around the World in Eighty Days'' by Jules Verne. It was produced by Spanish studio BRB Internacional and Televisión Española, with animation by Japanese studio Nippon Animation, and was first broadcast on TVE1 weekly in 1984. Jules Verne's original characters are depicted as animals in the series. The core trio are all felines being pursued by three canine foes. Willy Fog (Phileas Fogg in the original book) is depicted as a lion, while Rigodon ( Passepartout) is a cat, and Romy (Aouda) is a panther. Dubbing (also known as re-recording and mixing) is a post-production process used in filmmaking and the video production process where supplementary recordings (known as doubles) are lip-synced and "mixed" with original production audio to create the final product. Often this process is performed on films by replacing the original language to offer voiced-over translations. Mike Reynolds (November 21, 1929 – July 2, 2022) was an American voice actor and writer. Career Reynolds had been a voice actor in animation and anime movies since 1973 until 2004, and had also been a screen actor in movies. His most distinctive acting characteristic was his gruff, gravely voice. He used his voice in the ''Power Rangers'' franchise until 2002. Two of his best-known roles are the voice of General Ivar in '' VR Troopers'', Captain Mutiny in '' Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy'', and Gennai from the American English dub of '' Digimon Adventure''. Rebecca Forstadt is an American voice actress, best known for playing young female roles in various animated series. After studying theater at Orange Coast College, in Costa Mesa, California, Forstadt began her acting career by working at Knott's Berry Farm's Bird Cage Theater, performing melodramas, often as the damsel in distress character.
