William Scorpion
Thanakorn Scorpion ( ; born 14 November 1961), better known by his stage name William Scorpion, is a Singaporean Cantopop and Mandopop singer and equestrianism coach. He is widely viewed as a homegrown veteran of Singapore's Mandopop night-scene, often labelled as a local icon. The press continue to credit him as Singapore's Mandopop King, who brought this genre of music to prominence. In 2013, Scorpion resigned as Executive Director of Shanghai Dolly and left the club on 28 February 2013 so as to perform on an ad hoc basis and teach horse-riding in the day at the National Equestrian Centre. Joo Chiat
Joo Chiat Road is an arterial road and a residential conservation area in the eastern part of Singapore, and is located between Geylang Serai and Marine Parade Road. It is mainly bounded by conserved shophouses that are colourfully painted on both sides of the road. The stretch of road is either designated as a single directional or a single lane road in one direction. History Before 1917, Joo Chiat Road was known as the Confederate Estate Road. VivoCity is a shopping mall located in the HarbourFront precinct of Bukit Merah, Singapore. It is the largest shopping mall in Singapore, with of net lettable area and of gross floor area spread over a three-storey shopping complex and two basement levels. It was designed by the Japanese architect Toyo Ito, and its name is derived from the word '' vivacity''. Power Station () is a Taiwanese rock duo, composed of Yu Chiu-hsin (尤秋興) and Yen Chih-lin (顏志琳), both of the Paiwan tribe of Taiwan's Pingtung County. Their music is characterized by their energetic rock ballads, as well as their electrifying rock anthems. Alfred Sim Chee Hao (born 4 October 1981), is a Singaporean singer and athletics coach. He is best known for being the overall winner of the third season of reality singing competition '' Project SuperStar''. Singing career Sim auditioned for the first and second seasons of '' Project Superstar'' in 2005 and 2006 respectively, but he did not make it as one of the finalists. Clarke Quay is a historical riverside quay in Singapore, located within the Singapore River Planning Area. The quay is situated upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River and Boat Quay.
