William Paget (MP)
Captain William Paget (22 December 1769 – September 1794) was a British Royal Navy officer and Member of Parliament. Background Paget was the second son of Henry Paget, 1st Earl of Uxbridge, and Jane, daughter of the Very Reverend Arthur Champagné. Constantinople

Nicholas Bayly (Anglesey MP)
Colonel Nicholas Bayly (1747 – 7 June 1812) was a British soldier and Member of Parliament. Background Bayly was the third son of Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Baronet, and Caroline, daughter of Brigadier-General Thomas Paget. He was baptised on the 1 Jun 1747 at Llanedwen, Anglesey, Wales. He was the younger brother of Henry Bayly-Paget, 1st Earl of Uxbridge, and the uncle of Henry Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey. The family seat was Plas Newydd. Military and political career Bayly was a Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Foot Guards and after he had begun his political career he was appointed Colonel of the part-time Royal West Middlesex Militia (a regiment in which several of his family also served) on 15 April 1788. He was returned to parliament for Anglesey in 1784, a seat he held until 1790. He was succeeded as MP by his nephew William Paget. French Frigate Sibylle (1791)
''Sibylle'' was a 38-gun of the French Navy. She was launched in 1791 at the dockyards in Toulon and placed in service in 1792. After the 50-gun Fourth-rate, fourth rate captured her in 1794, the British took her into service as HMS ''Sybille''. She served in the Royal Navy until disposed of in 1833. While in British service, ''Sybille'' participated in three notable single-ship actions, in each case capturing a French vessel. On anti-slavery duties off West Africa from July 1827 to June 1830, ''Sybille'' captured many slavers and freed some 3,500 slaves. She was finally sold in 1833 in Portsmouth. Fourth-rate
In 1603 all English warships with a complement of fewer than 160 men were known as 'small ships'. In 1625/26 to establish pay rates for officers, a six-tier naval ship rating system was introduced.Winfield 2009 These small ships were divided into three tiers: fourth-, fifth- and sixth-rates. Up to the end of the 17th century, the number of guns and the complement size were adjusted until the rating system was actually clarified. A 'fourth-rate' was nominally a ship of over thirty guns with a complement of 140 men. In the rating system of the Royal Navy used to categorize sailing warships in the 18th century, a fourth-rate was a ship of the line with 46 to 60 guns mounted.
