Will Cherry
Will Cherry (born February 8, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). He played college basketball for the University of Montana, where he was named Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013. Cherry had a short stint in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers before playing in Lithuania, Germany, Turkey, Croatia, Greece and Italy. High school career Cherry attended McClymonds High School in Oakland, California. As a senior, he averaged 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and a league-leading 4.0 steals per game for the undefeated (33–0) Warriors, going on to be named league and team MVP. The Big Sky Conference (BSC) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division I with football competing in the Football Championship Subdivision. The ABA League Supercup, also credited as ABA Super Cup, is an annual men's professional basketball supercup competition between teams from the ABA League. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition, that is contested between teams from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. The 2016 BBL-Pokal was the 49th season of the German Basketball Cup. The Final Four was held in Munich, which gained Bayern Munich automatic qualification. Basketball Bundesliga-Pokal, commonly known as the BBL-Pokal, is the annual national basketball cup competition in Germany. Since 2009, the title has been awarded to the winner of a tournament competition between top clubs of each Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) season. History and format The competition was founded in 1966, by the German Basketball Federation. The first final of the German Basketball Cup took place on 11 June 1967, in Oberhausen.
