Wildberries is the largest Russian online retailer founded in 2004 by Tatyana Bakalchuk. Besides Russia, they have services in 15 other countries: Armenia, Belarus, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, the United States, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, with more than 48,000 employees. Tatyana Vladimirovna Bakalchuk (russian: Татья́на Влади́мировна Бакальчу́к; , russian: Ким, links=no, ko, 김; born on 16 October 1975) is a Russian entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Wildberries, the largest Russian online retailer, and the country's first self-made woman billionaire. As of October 2021, her net worth was estimated at US$13.3 billion. In 2021, the government of Ukraine imposed sanctions over Tatyana and Vladislav Bakalchuk and Wildberries for promoting anti-Ukrainian propaganda on the platform.
