Wiet Van Broeckhoven
Wiet Van Broeckhoven (19 September 1949 – 4 January 2019) was a Belgian radio presenter and writer, best known as the host of the radio music shows ''Njam Njam'' and ''Hitbox''. He was known for his Beatle haircut and knack for humorous one-liners. Life and career Originally a civil servant, he presented the music shows ''Njam Njam'' and ''Hitbox'' on Radio 2, where Etienne Smet made the musical selections. Van Broeckhoven was known for his playful style, coming up with humorous one-liners and puns in between musical segments. Many of these quotes and one-liners were later compiled in various books. Robert Long (singer)
Robert Long (22 October 1943 in Utrecht as Jan Gerrit Bob Arend (Bob) Leverman – 13 December 2006 in Antwerp) was a Dutch singer and television presenter. Biography Under the stage name "Bob Revel" he founded the band The Yelping Jackals in 1963. In 1967 he moved to another band, called Unit Gloria (at that time using the name Gloria). In 1971 he began to sing solo, under the name "Robert Long", a reference to his height. Only a year later he left Unit Gloria to concentrate on his solo career. He started singing in English, but not long after that he also began to sing self-written songs in Dutch. His Dutch songs were critical of Dutch society and of American politics. Roy Kelton Orbison (April 23, 1936 – December 6, 1988) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician known for his impassioned singing style, complex song structures, and dark, emotional ballads. Michel Follet
Michel Follet (born 16 December 1959) is a Flemish radio and TV host and a film critic. Follet started his radio career for VRT as a disc jockey on Radio 2 in 1982. In 1992 Follet co-founded Radio Donna and presented the show ''Jabbedabbedoe''. Between 1994 and 2015 he was film critic for the regional channel ATV in Antwerp. In 1996 Follet provided the VRT television commentary for the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest (alongside Johan Verstreken) when regular commentator André Vermeulen was unable to make it to Oslo to commentate. In addition Follet has provided the VRT Radio commentary every year since the 1997 Contest and in 1999 he won the Eurovision Song Contest awards.
