Wiesbaden Swing
Wiesbaden Swing is a script typeface, created by the Germany, German communication designer Rosemarie Kloos-Rau. Since the 1992 release by Mergenthaler Linotype Company, Linotype, several character sets have been published, including dingbats. History Rosemarie Kloos-Rau is a Calligraphy, calligrapher and typography, typographer and was awarded in 1983 with the Rudo Spemann award. Until the 1990s, she worked as an illustrator and published together with Michael Rau the book ''Script Types'' in 1993. In 1992, she published the typeface Wiesbaden Swing for Mergenthaler Linotype Company, Linotype, named after Wiesbaden, the German regional capital of Hesse, where Kloos-Rau lives in the suburb of Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Biebrich. In 1997, Alexei Chekulayev created a version with cyrillic characters, and in 1999 a bold font style was published. Also, ''Dingbats'' are available. Script Typeface
Script typefaces are based upon the varied and often fluid stroke created by handwriting. They are generally used for display or trade printing, rather than for extended body text in the Latin alphabet. Some Greek alphabet typefaces, especially historically, have been a closer simulation of handwriting. Styles Script typefaces are organized into highly regular formal types similar to cursive writing and looser, more casual scripts. Formal scripts A majority of formal scripts are based upon the letterforms of seventeenth and eighteenth century writing-masters like George Bickham, George Shelley and George Snell. The letters in their original form are generated by a quill or metal nib of a pen. Both are able to create fine and thick strokes. Typefaces based upon their style of writing appear late in the eighteenth century and early nineteenth century. The Academy of Arts (german: Akademie der Künste) is a state arts institution in Berlin, Germany. The task of the Academy is to promote art, as well as to advise and support the states of Germany. Milka
Milka is a brand of chocolate confectionery, originally made in Switzerland in 1901 by Suchard. It has then been produced in Lörrach, Germany for the past 100 years. Since 2012 it has been owned by US-based company Mondelez International, when it started following the steps of its predecessor Kraft Foods Inc., which had taken over the brand in 1990. It is sold in bars and a number of novelty shapes for Easter and Christmas. Products with the ''Milka'' brand also include chocolate-covered cookies and biscuits. Kinder Chocolate ( it, Kinder Cioccolato; "Kinder" is German for “Children") is a brand of chocolate bars produced by Italian multinational confectionery company Ferrero. In Latin script typography, roman is one of the three main kinds of historical type, alongside blackletter and italic.
