Cianjur
Cianjur ( su, ᮎᮤᮃᮔ᮪ᮏᮥᮁ) is a town and district in the West Java province of Indonesia, and is the seat of Cianjur Regency. The district of Cianjur is located along one of the main roads between Jakarta (120 km to the northwest) and Bandung (60 km to the east). The population was 158,125 at the 2010 Census and 173,265 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 174,587.Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2022. Because of its location, some of Cianjur's residents commute to work either in Bandung or in Jakarta. Kompas TV is a national terrestrial private news television network in Indonesia. It is owned by the KG Media unit of Kompas Gramedia Group and is named after its flagship property, the ''Kompas'' daily newspaper.
