It was produced by Hartmut Pfannmüller and Kathy Kelly for their eighth regular studio album '' Over the Hump'' (1994) and features lead vocals by Joey and Paddy Kelly. Released as the album's second single, the song reached the top twenty of the Austrian Singles Chart. This song was also released as a promotional single in Italy after the band played it at the 1995 Festival di Sanremo as guest stars. The Kelly Family
The Kelly Family is a European-American music group consisting of a multi-generational family, usually nine siblings who were joined occasionally on stage in their earlier years by their parents. They play a repertoire of rock, pop, and folk music, and sing in English, Spanish, German, and Basque. The group had chart and concert success around the world, predominantly in continental Europe - mainly in Germany, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, and Portugal - and some in Ireland. They have sold over 20 million albums since the early 1980s and were ranked as the 6th most popular music act in Germany in the 1990s. ''Over the Hump'' is the eighth regular studio album by European-American pop group The Kelly Family. Co-produced by Hartmut Müller and Kathy Kelly and recorded at the Sound Studio N in Cologne, it was released on 26 August 1994 throughout most of Europe. The album reached number-one in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, resulting in the group's breakthrough in German-speaking Europe after years of minor successful studio and live releases. Kathleen Ann Kelly (born March 6, 1961) is a singer, songwriter, and producer. Born in Leominster, Massachusetts, she is the third child of The Kelly Family, a multi-generational pop group that achieved success in Europe in the 1990s. She's currently the oldest member of the group, the "Grandmother" of the family. In 1999, Kelly released her first solo album, ''The Best of Kathy Kelly'', which included her best songs from The Kelly Family albums as well as five new songs. While continuing to record and tour with the group throughout the 2000s, Kelly pursued her solo projects, resulting in three additional LPs and several singles to date. Joseph Maria Kelly (born 20 December 1972) is a musician, songwriter, and athlete of Irish-American descent. Kelly became known as a member of the Kelly Family, however, during the band's hiatus, he appeared primarily as an amateur athlete and participated in various sport competitions.
