"Who Will Know" is a song composed in 2016 by Shiro Sagisu for the soundtrack of the 2016 Godzilla film, ''Shin Godzilla''. The song is the 13th track. Instrumental sounds and tuning were done by the London Studio Orchestra in 2016. The song describes the constant agony experienced by Shin Godzilla from radiation and transformations, resulting from his nuclear waste origin. Other versions The CD release of ''Shin Godzillas soundtrack features a slightly different version than what plays in the movie itself, having a unique intro to the version included in the film. The song also received an instrumental version as a bonus track on the CD release. During a live concert, a Furusato version of "Who Will Know" was performed by Yoko Takahashi for the ''Shin Godzilla vs. Evangelion Symphony'' in 2017. It became the ninth song of the ten on Disc 2. Shirō Sagisu
is a Japanese composer, arranger and music producer. With a career spanning over 40 years (beginning in the late 1970s), he is best known for his works as a record producer for acts including various choir members Mike Wyzgowski, Misia, Satoshi Tomiie, and Ken Hirai. Sagisu has also worked as a film composer for several anime and films, being well known for his collaborations with Gainax, especially in the soundtrack of Hideaki Anno's series '' Neon Genesis Evangelion''. Sagisu's career in music started in 1977, when he became one of the members of jazz fusion band T-Square. He made three albums with the group before becoming a full-time composer and writer in 1979. Shin Godzilla (character)
, is a giant monster, or ''kaiju'', in Toho, Toho Co., Ltd.'s Godzilla (franchise), ''Godzilla'' media franchise. A variation of Godzilla, it first appeared in the 2016 reboot ''Shin Godzilla'', released by Toho and co-directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi. It is an ever-evolving lifeform that was mutated by radioactive waste dumped by the United States in the Tokyo Bay in the late-1950s. Yoko Takahashi
