Frederick Whitney Ellsworth (November 27, 1908 – September 7, 1980) was an American comic book editor and sometime writer and artist for DC Comics during the period known to historians and fans as the Golden Age of Comic Books. The Fox And The Crow (animated Characters)
The Fox and the Crow are a pair of anthropomorphic cartoon characters created by Frank Tashlin for the Screen Gems#Animation studio (1921–1946), Screen Gems studio. The characters, the refined but gullible Fauntleroy Fox and the streetwise Crawford Crow, appeared in a series of animated short subjects released by Screen Gems through its parent company, Columbia Pictures. Columbia cartoons Tashlin directed the first film in the series, the 1941 ''Color Rhapsody'' short ''The Fox and the Grapes'', loosely based on the Aesop The Fox and the Grapes, fable of that name. Wonder Woman is a superheroine who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in ''All Star Comics'' Introducing Wonder Woman, #8, published October 21, 1941, with her first feature in ''Sensation Comics'' #1 in January 1942. ''Scribbly'' was a Dutch comic strip, created by Jean-Paul Arends. It ran daily in the Dutch edition of the ''Metro'' free newspaper from 1999 to 2010. ''Real Fact Comics'' is a series of educational American comic books published by three early iterations of DC Comics: World's Best Comics, Inc., Detective Comics, Inc., and National Comics Publications. Green Lantern is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics.
