Pitchfork Music Festival was an annual music festival in Union Park (Chicago), Union Park in Chicago, Illinois, organized by the online magazine ''Pitchfork (website), Pitchfork.'' Starting in 2011, the festival announced a branch staged in Paris at Grande halle de la Villette. The festival, which is normally held over three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) in July, focuses primarily on artists and bands from the alternative rock, hip hop music, hip hop, electronic music, electronic and dance music genres, although it has also ranged into hardcore punk, experimental rock and jazz in its lineups. John Congleton is a grammy winning American record producer, engineer, mixer, writer and musician. ''Spark'' is the third studio album by American rock duo Whitney. It was released on September 16, 2022, on Secretly Canadian. Background In the fall of 2019, band members Julian Ehrlich and Max Kakacek left Chicago for Portland, Oregon, after they both had recently gone through breakups. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they stayed in a rented house in Portland longer than expected, where they began working on what would become ''Spark''. They wrote the album in Portland over the course of 14 months. It was recorded at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas. The album is noted for its classic pop sound, rather than the duo's previous folk-soul sound. The Roches were an American vocal trio of sisters Maggie, Terre and Suzzy Roche, from Park Ridge, New Jersey. Career In the late 1960s, eldest sister Maggie (October 26, 1951 – January 21, 2017) and middle sister Terre (pronounced "Terry", born April 10, 1953) attended Park Ridge High School, but dropped out of school to tour as a duo.
