Zero 7
Zero 7 is an English musical duo consisting of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker. Both of them began as studio engineers and in 1997 formed the group Zero 7. Their debut album, '' Simple Things'', was released in 2001; their song "Destiny" stayed in the top 100 of the UK Single Charts. Subsequent albums include ''When It Falls'', '' The Garden'', and '' Yeah Ghost''. After studying sound engineering, Binns and Hardaker began their careers in the music industry in the 1990s at Mickie Most's RAK Studios in London, engineering music for British groups like Pet Shop Boys, Young Disciples, and Robert Plant. In 1997 they created a remix of the song "Climbing Up the Walls" by Radiohead (which was also the first time the name 'Zero 7' was used), provided additional programming on "Meeting in the Aisle", a ''Karma Police'' B-side, and Binns received a credit for additional sampling on '' Kid A''. 0 (zero) is a number representing an empty quantity. Adding (or subtracting) 0 to any number leaves that number unchanged; in mathematical terminology, 0 is the additive identity of the integers, rational numbers, real numbers, and complex numbers, as well as other algebraic structures. Tina Dico
Tina Dico (born Tina Dickow Danielsen on 14 October 1977) is a Danish singer-songwriter. She founded her own record label and releases her music independently, enjoying large success with her albums in her home country as well as critical acclaim across Europe. She is inspired by artists such as Tracy Chapman, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. In Denmark she performs both under her real name, Tina Dickow, and under the adopted name Tina Dico as well. Sophie Alexandra Jessica Barker (born 5 November 1971) is a British singer and songwriter from London, best known for her work with the British downtempo group Zero 7. Biography Barker left University College London after two years to become a full-time singer, signing to Sony Records in 1996 with fellow singer Kate Holmes under the name “Sirenes”. They released three singles, ''Blind, Deep End,'' and ''Sun Don't Shine,'' before splitting up at the end of 1997. "Somersault" is a song by English musical duo Zero 7 featuring Australian singer Sia. It was released on 17 May 2004 as the second single from the band's second studio album, ''When It Falls'' (2004).
