When I Met You In Tokyo
is a 2023 Philippine romantic drama film written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Rado Peru and Rommel Penesa. It stars Vilma Santos and Christopher de Leon, both of whom were teamed up in several blockbuster films such as ''Tag-ulan sa Tag-Araw'' (1975), ''Sinasamba Kita'' (1982), ''Minsan Pa Nating Hagkan ang Nakaraan'' (1983), ''Imortal'' (1989), '' Dekada '70'' (2002), and '' Mano Po III: My Love'' (2004). It was released on December 25, 2023, as an official entry for the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival. Plot The film begins in Japan where Azon and her friends work at the Crowne Plaza Hotel as hotel servants while Joey is a farmer who works at the Japanese farm along with his Japanese friend, Akira and a single man who was recently annulled from his marriage with his estranged former wife. Suzette Doctolero
Suzette Severo Doctolero (born December 16, 1968) is a Filipina screenwriter for film and television. She is best known for being the creator of ''Encantadia'' in 2005 and the succeeding related television series including the ''Encantadia'' 2016 reboot. She is mostly credited as screenwriter, series creator and creative consultant for GMA Network. Her other works include ''Amaya'''', Indio ''and ''My Husband's Lover. ''She also wrote the story for the film '' Let the Love Begin'' and became the creative consultant for the television series ''Alyas Robin Hood'' and ''Destined to be Yours''. Fernando Poe Jr
Ronald Allan Kelley Poe (August 20, 1939 – December 14, 2004), known professionally as Fernando Poe Jr., and often referred to by his initials FPJ, was a Filipino actor, film director, producer, screenwriter, and politician.
